Pre-Submittal Meeting Information

In response to the mandated guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still accepting Pre-Submittal Applications.  However, the Pre-Submittal Applications must be submitted electronically via email or fax to (972) 205-2474. 

We will provide you with the codes, ordinances, and requirements applicable to your project; explain the process from start to finish; and answer any questions you might have. Pre-Submittal Highlight on Process Map

Requirements

A pre-submittal meeting is required for the following development projects:

  • A zoning change
  • Platting
  • New construction or utility connection
  • A land disturbance greater than 5,000 square feet
  • Conversion of a residential structure to a non-residential use

Meetings are conducted by appointment only in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To schedule a Pre-submittal Meeting, please complete the Pre-Submittal Application (PDF).
